about
This track started as a Ping Pong session with soundsome (soundsome.bandcamp.com). Ping Pong you ask? It's our take on the classic Service Design 6-3-5 ideation method, applied to music production: two or more artists start with an empty songs and then switch every 10-15 minutes to continue where the last one left off. Everything is allowed, including completely wrecking everything. The kalimba and piano samples where recorded in a culture centrum in Münster, Germany, hence the name "Kulturklavier". The background soundscape was recorded on a bus from Helsinki to Porvoo in Finland. Enjoy!
Chicago's Ron Trent adds swirling, futuristic deep house dimension to the title track from the Brazilian jazz-funk pioneers' latest. Bandcamp New & Notable May 10, 2017
